UC Research Survey Asks:
How is Water Conservation Impacting Your Systems?

Are declining flows due to water conservation impacting your collection system, wastewater treatment plant, or water recycling program? Could declining flows impact your system(s) in the future?

Per SB 1157, a team of researchers working with the CA Department of Water Resources (DWR) has developed three surveys to gather feedback on the impacts of achieving the 2030 indoor residential water use standard of 42 gallons per capita per day. These surveys expand on those originally circulated in 2021. 

Providing your experiences is critical for DWR and their researchers to understand what we do and do not know about the impacts of conservation. In addition, the measures you are implementing, or planning on implementing, to avoid anticipated impacts of water conservation to your systems. 

Choose the survey that best fits your agency. The researchers are asking us to complete the applicable survey(s) by January 31st.
